Today we’re in Taman Molek trying out a “burger” we saw while driving.

It’s a Vietnamese cuisine restaurant known as Saigon Garden.

Before talking about the burger, they also selling the ingredient import from Saigon, Vietnam. Therefore the customer can easily buy it in the restaurant.

Barbecue Meat Baguette (RM9.50)

The Baguette is nicely toasted. They serve it with the barbecue meat (pork) inside the baguette. The barbecue meat tastes a little sweet and salty, just like Chinese barbecue meat “Chashao”. The tomato, carrot, cucumber, and coriander are crunchy and freshly serve inside the baguette.

Threesome Sliders in Morganfield’s, Johor Bahru

Hey guys, are you curious about what burger we have eaten today? This is another part of the story in Morganfield’s.

Fun Fact! Morganfield’s is not your typical western restaurants, it is also known for a place to chill with your friends while drinking alcohol.

The signature dish which Morganfield’s recommends is the “Threesome Sliders”.

Sliders are basically a mini version of the hamburger. The Threesome Sliders in Morganfield’s come with 3 sliders in a dish which includes bacon & ham, fish cake, and pork meatball.

Bacon & ham slider is using a normal toasted bun and the patty is smoked bacon cooked moderately. It does not too greasy and crispy. The vegetables are tomatoes and lettuce which is fresh and we can taste the sweetness and crispiness from it.

Fish cake slider is using a sesame bun which is super crispy together with the fried fish fillet. It matches with the mayonnaise and the lettuce and tomatoes so this slider tastes sweet and sour.

Pork meatball slider is using the charcoal bun and there is a pickle on the top of the bun used to refresh the taste. The charcoal bun is sweet. The ingredients in pork meatball slider are pork meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. The meat seasoned with black pepper and cheese match perfectly giving the taste of fragrant, hot and salty.

As of now, they have the”Oinkingly Top Value Set Lunch”, so other than the original side dishes in Threesome sliders which are french fries and salad, the set meal also provides soup of the day or house salad and one bottomless soft drink. (RM16.90)

Signature burger at Coffee Signature, Taman Sri Tebrau

Coffee Signature is a café located in Taman Sri Tebrau. The environment of the café is unique as the building is made by container. But the downside is that the café is a little bit too packed but its meant to be that way.

Signature Burger (RM26)

Coffee Signature only served one burger which is The Signature Burger. There is two types of burger patties you can choose from which is chicken or beef. We had ordered the chicken patty burger.

The bun that they used is toasted bun. The chicken patty is a grilled marinated chicken chop with teriyaki sauce. The sauce has made the burger a little bit too sweet but the cheese on the top of the patty has synthesise the taste with some salty taste. So, it won’t feel too greasy.

Furthermore, other ingredients including lettuces, tomato slices, Japanese cucumber slices and mushroom slices. Therefore, when you taste the burger you can have different tastes. French fries with black pepper sprinkle on top, however it is a little bit salty.

Southern Tender Chicken Burger at Coffee Garden

In Taman Austin Height, we have discovered a quiet and cozy restaurant which is Coffee Garden.

This restaurant provides a good customer service as when we step into the restaurant, the owner lead us to our tables and explains their signature dishes.

We have ordered the Southern Tender Chicken Burger. Normally, the bun used for this burger is your average burger bun, but due to the lack of normal buns, they change to the charcoal bun for us.

The charcoal bun is soft, fresh, and a little crispy. Furthermore, the lettuces and tomatoes are juicy and crunchy. They have added the mayonnaise as the dressing and the burger has includes an egg and the chicken patty which is crispy, tender and juicy.

They did not provide any side dishes, you need to pay a little more to add on side dishes and beverage such as french fries, salad, mushroom soup and rice.

Vegetarian burger at Image cooker

The interior design of the restaurant is all retro themed. All of the furniture used in the restaurant are all simple and feel like the 80’s. This restaurant is selling vegetarian dishes.

The burger we had today is Big Nash. It is hard to know what is the flavour based on the name. When the burger is served, the culinary art of the burger is neat and the plate they use make it looks very delicious. The bun is soft. Furthermore, the burger patty is made from konjac and egg, but the taste is like when you are eating “otak-otak”, a little bit spicy with strong spice fragrances. There are lettuce and cheese in the burger.

Overall of the burger is delicious. French fries and salads are also included the dishes. The french fries are with proper seasoning and the salad is fresh. You can choose a beverage for this set lunch. We had ordered the fruit juice which includes orange, apple and tomato. The fruit juice is freshly made. We recommend that you should come and visit this wonderful place!

Black Pepper Chicken Burger in Vege Coffee

Vege Coffee is a vegetarian café located at Austin Heights. This café serves Chinese, Western and Malaysian cuisines for vegetarians. They have only one burger on the menu which is the Black Pepper Chicken Burgers.

The bun is fresh and soft. The patty is well cooked and good in texture but we do not taste any black pepper on it.

French fries are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The burger has too much mayonnaise and ketchup which makes it inconvenient to eat just by hand. But the fresh veggies balance up the sweetness from the sauces.

We’re going to review the “Burger Daging Pataya”. Burger Daging Pataya is a grilled beef patty with bun and there is an omelette wrapping the whole burger. Its just look like your omelette rice but not really is! The Burger Daging Pataya for this store tastes above average.

After you open the packaging, you can see there is plenty of thousand island sauce apply on the omelette.

The bun is grilled with margarine, the sauces have covered the taste of the patty but the beef patty is juicy and chewy and its topped with lettuce, onion, and tomato slices.
