A&W was one of the most popular fast food restaurants in Johor, especially for their signature root beer. But today, we’ll be reviewing its burger known as the Chicken Sandwich.
Our first impression on this burger is that it looks like the Spicy Chicken McDeluxe from McDonald’s. However, the taste is way different. The burger bun is dry and doesn’t taste as pleasant. The patty used is also a fried chicken but the flavour and aroma are not very amazing. They also throw in some lettuce and mayonnaise to complement the burger but it doesn’t make much difference. As for the set meal, you’ll get a side of fries which could be changed to curly fries and also their signature root beer. If you want ice-cream for the root beer, you’ll be charged extra which is very worthwhile. We would come back here just for the root beer but definitely not the burger.
